Kevin, a native of St. Petersburg Florida, graduated from Boca Ciega High School in 1979 and attended St. Petersburg Junior College from 1980-1982. He opened an insurance agency in 1986, serving the central and southwest coast of Florida for 15 years, earning an LUTCF designation and specializing in estate planning. In 1994 he co-founded and administrated Project Action Foundation, a national children’s charity that paid out over 2 million dollars to martial arts, dance and gymnastics schools across the U.S. to teach disadvantaged children. In 1997, the late Florida Governor Lawton Chiles presented Kevin with the Governor’s Award for his work helping children. Kevin joins his wife Cindy at Tri County Mortgage, utilizing his knowledge of cutting edge marketing technology, legendary customer service and innovative public education in order to be of the highest value to Tri County’s clients. The team of Cindy and Kevin Walker are dedicated to benefiting customers and real estate industry partners by stimulating activity and making sure every deal makes it to the closing table on time and with no surprises. Kevin also specializes in Reverse Mortgages and mortgage planning. Kevin and Cindy married on June 25, 1988 and live in West Seminole with their three children. Kevin currently serves on the board of directors for the Florida Juvenile Justice Foundation, stepping down recently as board chair. He attends Calvary Episcopal; coaches youth sports and is very active in his community, having founded his neighborhood’s neighborhood watch association. Kevin is inspired by the sense of satisfaction he gets helping first time home buyers benefit from ownership, to guiding growing families and veteran homeowners achieve their goals through both “back to the basics” borrowing and “creative” financing and assisting senior citizens enjoy the type of retirement they so richly deserve by utilizing the benefits of a Reverse Mortgage if their situation calls for it.
